Our story

We got tired of headphones that sound worse the longer you own them.

Resonance started in a workshop with a soldering iron, three broken pairs of "premium" headphones, and a belief that audio gear should be built like instruments — not like phones.

What we hold to

Three rules we don't break

01

Materials over marketing

Walnut, maple, beryllium, and steel. If a material doesn't age well, it doesn't go in the product.

02

Fix it, don't bin it

Every pad, driver, and hinge ships as a spare part for at least ten years after a product's release.

03

Tuned by people who listen for a living

Our engineers run the listening panel themselves. Nothing ships until it holds up over a full album.

How we got here

A short timeline

2014

First workshop, Faisalabad

Three friends and a bench. The first Halcyon prototype took 40 revisions.

2018

Halcyon Over-Ear ships

Our first product line, hand-assembled in batches of fifty.

2022

Lathe Turntable Mk I

We moved into vinyl, built around a belt-drive design that took two years to get quiet enough.

2026

Repair program hits 12,000 devices

More than the number of new units we sold that year — which is exactly the point.
